How Alerts Work (Simple)

Dashboard Buckets = shows items due within X days (<= X)
Alert Windows = sends alerts only when an item hits an exact milestone (== X)
Example: windows 365,30,14,7,3,1 sends alerts when a renewal is exactly 365 days left, 30 days left, etc.
